Award Given by CCIM Institute, Leading Commercial Real Estate Association

(Greensboro, NC 4-4-17)—The North Carolina CCIM Chapter earned the 2016 President’s Cup Tier 1 Award in a competition conducted by the CCIM Institute, the governing body of one of the largest commercial real estate networks in the world.  The award was presented at the Institute’s Annual Mid-Year Business Meeting held in April in Chicago, IL.

                The President’s Cup award is given to CCIM chapters to recognize innovative and outstanding chapter programs, including membership recruitment and retention, promotion, special events, and fundraising activities.


                Key goals of the President’s Cup awards program are to:

•             Promote the value of Chapter membership to CCIM Designees, Candidates and affiliate members.

•             Build a continuous awareness of the importance of recruitment through an ongoing membership campaign.

•             Reward Chapters for developing innovative programs.


Pete Frandano, CCIM and current NC CCIM Board President stated, “We are honored by this award which is a direct result of the leadership of Rob Vaughn, our 2016 NC CCIM Board President, as well as all of our incredible board members and staff who successfully implemented our mission of promoting education, technology and networking with the common goal of doing business together.” The North Carolina CCIM Chapter is headquartered in Greensboro, NC and is one of more than 50 worldwide chapters affiliated with the CCIM Institute.  The chapter has over 600 members representing all property types and disciplines of commercial investment real estate.
